It is compulsory that all participants must take and use:

• A rigid approved cycling helmet to be worn in the whole event.

• Reflectors so that the participants are clearly visible from dusk to dawn. Reflectors included in clothing will be accepted.

• The plaque with the number at the front of the bike.

• For safety reasons, a mobile phone with sufficient battery charge for it to work during the whole event. This phone number and number of a person to contact in case of an emergency must be supplied to the organisation.

• The relay evidence (on-line monitoring device).

• Front light which must be switched on from dusk to dawn.

• Rear light which must be left on throughout the event both in the day and at night.

• A space blanket.

Although the food and drink stops will be complete and include solids and liquids, it is recommended that the participants carry their own food and drinks.
